Up to five minutes

If you have been in a fixed position working at a computer screen or on a mobile device for a while, tension can build up in the body, particularly in the neck and shoulders, which can sap energy and translate into feeling tense mentally. A few gentle movements to release tension can work wonders. Maybe set an alarm to do a few of these every hour or so if you’re prone to getting so involved with what you are doing that you lose track of time.
