The Quick Lift Project – Mood shift

Up to five minutes

When we are stuck into a task or routine and feel energy levels slumping or the mood becoming dull and flat, sometimes the best thing to do is have a break and do something completely different to refresh.

This section includes activities that can be fitted into a short break of five minutes or less and that can significantly lift the spirits. Pick one that resonates with you and see whether you felt any different afterwards. If the activity had a positive effect, think about how you could enjoy it more often.
